Men in Speedos . . . no, no, no!

Braeden, my mom and I all went to the water park in Branson this weekend. One thing I noticed - there seemed to be an abnormal amount of men in Speedos. I don't really know what the appeal is for men - maybe they think that their package needs to be displayed, sort of like thinking a women's cleavage should be shared by all. Let me tell you - women, at least all the women I know, do not consider this an attractive look. If we can tell the size, shape, level of hairiness, and degree of sag, you're wearing the wrong swimsuit.

Maybe these men think that they are increasing their odds of finding a woman by showing off their package. I've noticed, however, that most of the Speedo wearers are less than attractive in other areas as well. I can hear them thinking 'if I wear this banana hammock, maybe the women will be drooling so much over what I have to offer that they'll forget the man boobs and the buddha belly that shades it.' Hahaha.

(Just as an aside, I am actually a big fan of buddha bellies - my perfect man has big biceps, a balding or bald head, little man boobs and a buddha belly. I know, I'm weird.

)

So, the moral of today's story - if you are over the age of three and are tempted to wear a Speedo, DO NOT!

Actually, my belief tends more towards the "water is for drinking or showering" camp than "to be sunned near or immersed in." If mens' swimsuits circa about 1918 were available, I might partially reconsider my position. Thanks for your comments on my Space. I'm a recovering Catholic myself and when I think of the horrors of the Inquisition, Crusades and the Holy Mother Church electing a Hitler Youth as Pope, I feel that retaining my morality but heading in the opposite way from organized religion was a good decision.
